Last night would've been a good High School Baseball game between Victoria East and Victoria West, if it had been played. The matchup was originally supposed to be played last Friday, but rain forced it to be rescheduled for last night and, what do you know, more rain and lightning.

The East Titans shutout the West Warriors 9-0 in their first meeting this season, adding to their series dominance over West 6-4, winning the last 5 in a row. So far this season, East is 14-5-1, 8-2 in district, while West is 8-13, 3-7 in district.

The makeup game is set for Wednesday night at 7 at Riverside Stadium.
