VC/UHV Library to Host Open House

The VC/UHV Library will host an open house from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday. The free event is open to students, faculty, staff and the general public. "This is a good opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn about the resources and services offered and to meet the library team," Amanda Breu, VC/UHV instruction and outreach librarian, told the Victoria Advocate. "Plus, visitors can cast their vote in the library's annual Halloween costume contest."

Refreshments will be served, and the first 100 students will receive a free USB drive. One $50 Cinemark gift card will be awarded to a student participant, and one $25 Cinemark gift card will go to a faculty or staff member. The gift cards will be awarded in a drawing after the event.
