V.I.S.D Heads Back to School on August 18th
WHEN DOES SCHOOL START?
Yes I know we are only at the beginning of July but I have already seen a couple of back-to-school ads. So I might as well let you know that the Victoria Independent School District goes back to school on Wednesday, August 18th. The last day of the 2021-22 school year will be on Thursday, May 26th, 2022! Scroll down below to see when the breaks and days off are, so you can plan accordingly. We also have the graduations ceremony dates as well.
WHAT TIME WILL CLASS START?
The Elementary School school day will start at 8:00 AM, classes will end at 3:15. Middle School students get to sleep in a little later, they will start at 8:30 AM, classes will end at 3:45. High School Students will start their day at 7:45 AM and will get out at 2:45.
DAYS OFF DURING THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR:
- FALL BREAK WILL BE FROM NOVEMBER 22nd-26th.
- WINTER BREAK WILL BE FROM DECEMBER 20th-JANUARY 3rd.
- SPRING BREAK WILL BE FROM MARCH 14th-MARCH 18th.
- LABOR DAY ON SEPTEMBER 6th
- VETERANS DAY ON NOVEMBER 11th
- MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DAY ON JANUARY 17th.
- PRESIDENTS DAY ON FEBRUARY 21st(ALSO DESIGNATED AS A MAKE-UP DAY)
- GOOD FRIDAY ON APRIL 15th
WHEN IS GRADUATION?
Graduation dates for Liberty, East, and West have also been set. Liberty Academy will walk the stage on Thursday, May 26th. The West Warriors will have their ceremony on Friday, May 27th, and the East Titans on Saturday, May 28th.
