TX Assistant Superintendent Arrested for Solicitation of Prostitution
Dallas Police have arrested a Celina ISD Assistant Superintendent for allegedly soliciting a prostitute online. According to Dallas County records, Russell McDaniel was arrested on November 2nd by Dallas Police and was immediately placed on administrative leave. According to this article, " Mr. McDaniel is no longer with the district," the Celina ISD said in the statement.
In a letter to parents, the district said the matter did not involve Celina ISD students or staff and the incident did not occur in Celina.
In Texas, solicitation of prostitution is a state jail felony. A state jail felony is punishable by up to $10,000 in fines and/or between 180 days and 2 years in jail
TX Coach Spends Over $5K on District Card at Strip Club-Resigns
A soccer coach from Bridgeport High School in the Houston area has resigned after allegedly spending over $5 thousand dollars at a Houston strip club. The former soccer coach JD Bales is accused of charging more than $5,400 on a district credit card at The Men’s Club, a Houston strip club, in July.
This all happened during the Texas High School Coaches Association annual convention. It appears that this coach had a little too much fun. According to the an article by yahoo news, the exact amount charged at the strip club was $5,455.18 and has been reimbursed back to the school district.
