Two Local Businesses Have Announced They Are Closing Their Doors

On the show, we always remind people to shop local. We know how hard it is and how much work goes into keeping a local business open. In the past couple of days, we have learned that two local businesses will be closing their doors very soon.

Paint's Underground Pizza will close its doors on Sunday, July 5.

This morning, Paint's Underground Pizza announced they are closing its doors on Facebook. In the post, they show nothing but gratitude to their customers, employees, and vendors for the amazing relationships that were created. over the last 6 years.

The post also mentions the difficulty and hard work that goes into owning a small business. Their final request in the post is a reminder to support local businesses.

"Please continue to support local businesses in Victoria. Behind every small business is someone taking risks, working long hours, missing family time, worrying about payroll, and doing everything they can to keep their doors open. Your support matters more than you know."

The Chopping Block's last operating day is on Saturday, June 27.

On June 21st, the Chopping Block in Victoria posted its decision to close on Facebook. In the post, they are looking towards the future and thanking all of their customers for their support over the years.

Their last operating day will be on June 27. They close out the post with a call to action to support local businesses. We thank them for bringing quality meats and excellent customer service to Victoria.
