A pregnant woman is calling out Texas governments after receiving a ticket; but hold on tight, because this is not a normal 'Karen' over-reacting because she isn't getting her way.

TRAVELING ON THE HOV LANE

Brandy Bottone was driving down the HOV lane on the expressway in Dallas County one early morning. As she was traveling down the lane a Texas DPS officer flashed his lights and signaled for her to pull over.

WHERE'S THE SECOND PASSENGER?

The officer began to question Brandy about being in the HOV lane, which is designed for vehicles with two or more passengers. Brandy stated there was another person in the car but when the officer looked inside the car he only saw Brandy. When asked about the second passenger Brandy remembers responding, "I was like, 'Uh, this!'" pointing to her belly. "I was like, 'Right here, here she is.' He just looked at me, 'How do I answer this?'" Brandy recalled.

ROE V. WADE OVERTURNED

With the overturning of Roe v. Wade being so fresh and Texas placing an impending ban on abortions, Brandy thought it was a relevant answer. However, the officer was not buying it and issued Brandy a $275 ticket.

THE BIGGEST CONTRADICTION OF THE CENTURY

According to Brandy, the officer explained, "'Ma'am, it's two people outside of the body,' which is a weird way of wording it." However, the Texas Department of Transportation's online description of the HOV rule reads, "A vehicle occupied by two or more people."

If the government wants to acknowledge babies as living beings inside the womb at any point from conception to birth, then it would only make sense, and be less contradicting, all the laws would align.

"One law is saying that this is a baby and now he's telling me this baby that's jabbing my ribs is not a baby. Why can't it all make sense?" Brandy questioned. She is not wrong, if the law states an unborn baby is a living being then why wouldn't all Texas laws have to acknowledge that?

FIGHT HARD BRANDY!

Brandy has hired an attorney and plans to fight the ticket in court on July 20th.
