As reported by ABC13 in Houston, the "Star-Spangled Banner Protection Act," is heading to Governor Abbott's desk to be signed. This bill would apply to professional sports teams that receive government funds from the state of Texas, requiring them to play the song. You can read more about the bill by clicking here. Since we brought up the Mavericks, how about we showcase how they are handling the LA Clippers in the NBA Western Conference playoffs.  Luka and company are definitely making a statement to the rest of the NBA world.  Just another night at the office for Luka with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists.  Two more wins and the Mavericks move on to the next round.  Game 3  between the Mavs and Clippers is on Friday back in Dallas.
