The STJ Flyers Have Flexed Their Muscle in Non-District Play
The St. Joseph Flyers are quietly dominating their opponents in the Crossroads. The Flyers are 4-1 heading into district play. The St. Joseph offense is on a roll and has averaged 34 points a game. While their defense has been playing at an elite level as well, including two consecutive shutouts and they have done this with no real 'home field' advantage! Now it is time to amp it up as the Flyers head into a tough district schedule.
At this point, the Flyers already have more wins than last year. The Flyers finished last season with a 3-4,1-3 record and that was good enough for a trip to the second round of the playoffs. In what has become a tough district for the Flyers there is one matchup that I have circled on my calendar and that is the next one. The St. Josephy Flyers will take on Houston Second Baptist this Friday in Houston. Second Baptist has always been a tough matchup for the Flyers and they knocked the Flyers out of the playoffs last year so now is the perfect time for revenge. GO BIG BLUE and 'PARA BELLUM.' Leave it all on the field boys.
