The Pride of Texas Carnival is Back in Victoria This Week

The Pride of Texas is back in Victoria this week!.  As always, the show will be set up adjacent to the Victoria Community Center. This year's carnival will run from Thursday, February 15th- Sunday, February 25th. All-you-can-ride wristbands will be available every day and ride tickets will also be available.  See some of the rides below.

All you can ride wristband will be available every day for $30 or you can get ride tickets for $1 a ticket, rides will be up to 5 tickets per ride. See some of the rides below. You can also see the Beer Garden Entertainment schedule below as well.

KAMIKAZE: This falls under a classic carnival ride. However, I remember it being blue and white. 

STORM: This ride is a no for me, dog. Be prepared to get super dizzy and possibly sick. 

NO-LIMIT: This is a premium ride and will require additional tickets even if you have a wristband.  On a side note, there is a weight limit, which I went over. I was denied entry to this ride.

THE SEA RAY: This one is super colorful with super bright LED lights.  

THE CLIFFHANGER: No duct tape on this one. 

THE FERRIS WHEEL: Over 50’, guests will get a birds-eye view of the surrounding area!

VERTIGO: Side note, this ride will not fly on a super windy day. 

THE PUPPY ROLL: The Puppy Roll is a family ride. It has a double circular motion. I have actually gotten sick from spinning too much on this one. 

THE ORIENT EXPRESS: The Orient Express is a kiddie roller coaster that mom and dad can ride along to!

ALIEN ABDUCTION: Most of us grew up with the name the 'Gravitron' Riders experience the feeling of weightlessness as they are pressed against the wall. I can still handle this one. 

BEER GARDEN:

The legendary Beer Garden will kick off on Thursday, February 22nd, and run through Saturday, February 24th.  Here is the entire Beer Garden Entertainment lineup:

Thursday, February 22nd: DJ Blaze 8 PM

                                          Velvet Drive 9 PM

Friday, February 23rd:       Stephane Ross and the Southern Drive Band 7:00 PM

                                           Mike Gonzalez and the Iconiczz 9:30 PM

Saturday, February, 24th:   Corhnole Sign Up at 10 AM

                                            Karaoke Finals 9 PM

                                           Marcy Grace 7 PM

                                            The Texas Continentals 10:30 PM

EXHIBIT HALL

The exhibit hall will open at Noon on Thursday and Sunday and at 10 AM on Friday and Saturday.
