Texas HS Football Players Spank Opponent With Belts After Blowout
Unfortunately bad sportsmanship happens more that it should! A video has gone viral that shows some Willis High School football players spanking their opponents, Cleveland High School, with belts in the handshake line after a victory last Friday. The final score from the game was 77-0!
The video that were posted to social media show some players with belts in their hands, slightly hitting their opponents on their backside as they make their way through the line. While the intention wasn't to inflict physical pain on the opponent. The gesture is an example of horrible sportsmanship!
The video is the latest in a viral trend called the BTA challenge in which athletes use a belt to spank their opponents after a win.
Wills ISD released a statement about the incident...
"We do not condone this behavior, and we are actively taking steps to prevent such incidents in the future. We want to express our deepest regrets to the athletes, coaches, parents, and community of Cleveland ISD."
Cleavland ISD also released a statement...
"CISD does not endorse unsportsmanlike conduct and will continue to take appropriate action moving forward."
