Diner Perfectly Handles a Customer Complaint From 30 Years Ago

Thanks to social media, we get to see so many fun, entertaining, and petty things. This one I can really appreciate, because I have worked in a restaurant for over 15 years. This one goes under the pettiness category. The diner is called the Texas Inn and is located in Virginia. Janice Sparrow wrote:

"OMG horrible services haven't been there in 30 years. "

The response from the Diner came with a side of pettiness. The Texas Inn social media team handled this like a pro.

As a former restaurant worker, I have many times, wished I could throw pettiness to a customer. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way. Check out this TikTok video that will give you some satisfaction.

I mean, I could share at least 5 different examples of where I would have loved to be petty, while working in a restaurant. One time I got yelled at for the macaroni being "Kraft" macaroni and cheese and was told,  "if you really wanted a tip, you would go make us some homemade mac and cheese."
