As 4 Texas firefighters were responding to a house fire around 2:30 a.m., their fire truck lost control and flipped injuring numerous firefighters.

CRITICALLY INJURED AND AIRLIFTED

Four firefighters were on board during the accident. All 4 firefighters were taken to a local hospital for treatment, with one suffering critical injuries and airlifted via CareFlite. As of Tuesday morning, the critically injured firefighter remains in a serious condition, one firefighter has been stabilized, and two have been discharged from the hospital.

Fort Worth Fire Chief Jim Davis expressed deep concern for the crew's wellbeing, emphasizing the department's focus on supporting the injured firefighters and their families through this challenging time. 

"Our foremost priority is supporting the well-being of our firefighters and their families in this difficult moment," said Fort Worth Fire Chief Jim Davis.

He also acknowledged the community's support and prayers, which have been a source of comfort and solidarity for the department, "We appreciate the support and prayers of the Fort Worth community as we stand by the injured and their families."

The identities of the involved firefighters are yet to be disclosed as the investigation continues. Authorities are diligently working to determine the cause of the accident, aiming to understand the sequence of events that led to the fire truck losing control and overturning.
