Texas Country Spotlight: Drew Fish
From the minute Cory Morrow pulled Drew up to play in front of a sold out crowd at the legendary Gruene Hall, Drew knew he was born to play music. From this the Drew Fish Band was born. Since then, the DFB has performed energy-filled live shows all over the Lone Star State in legendary venues including The Rustic in Dallas, Blue Light in Lubbock, Coupland Hall in Coupland, City Limits in Stephenville, Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches and Stubb's when they return home. He has also shared the stage with some of Texas Country's biggest names including Curtis Grimes and Shane Smith. Drew's music screams Texas! He sings about floating down the Guadalupe River, Port Aransas, The State Fair, and beautiful Texas girls. His music is no stranger to the Texas music charts, charting as high as number five. The band has just released their new EP, 'Treat You Right" and it's time for Victoria to meet this rising Texas Country Star. Tune in on Friday morning at 8 to catch Drew in the studio as part of our Texas Country Spotlight series. I will introduce him to the listeners of the Crossroads and will debut new music off of his EP, including the new single "Flood." Be sure you tune in weekday morning at 9:35 for The Texas Two Step on KIXS 108!
