Tejas Fest is back for 2025! Last year was a huge success with incredible musical lineups, great vendors, a car show, a cornhole tournament, and much more. Also included in the festivities were a tamale-eating contest and a margarita judging contest. Those two events will makea return for the 2025 Tejas Fest on October 3 and 4 in Downtown Victoria.

Last year's tamale eating contest winner ate 44 tamales.
Last year, Juan Neave was the winner of the Tejas Fest tamale eating contest. He ate an incredible 44 tamales in just 10 minutes. Also winning big last year was Danielle Garcia, who won the title of the 2024 Tejas Fest Margarita Master.

Both contests are scheduled for Saturday, October 4.

  • Tamale Eating Contest starts at 2 p.m. and is presented by Venturas Tamales.
  • Margarita Judging Contest starts at 3:30 p.m. and is presented by Speedy Stop Spirits.

Registration will happen the day of the event.

Tejas Fest offers two nights of free entertainment.
Like last year, Tejas Fest will feature two nights of entertainment. Friday night will feature an all-Tejano lineup, and Saturday brings up some great Texas Country sounds. Once again, this is a FREE event for the public.

Victoria is also bringing back street dancing to downtown.
Not only has Tejas Fest brought live music back to downtown Victoria, but the City of Victoria has also brought back street dances with Night Tunes! The next street dance will be on Friday, August 29, and will feature rock music.
Festival season will conclude in Victoria on November 8.

Festival season will close out in Victoria with the Crossroads BBQ & Brew Music Festival on November 8, which will also take place at the DeLeon Plaza. The Crossroads BBQ & Brew Music Festival was last year named the Red Dirt and BBQ Music Fest. This year will feature festival headliners Braxton Keith, Cody Canada and the Departed, Tyler Halverson, the Staudt Brothers, Zachary Grant, and Charlie Alstom
