This year's Downtown Rhythms is bringing the sounds of Academy Award-winning movie "Les Miserables" to DeLeon and O'Connor plazas.

The Victoria Symphony Orchestra will present a Symphonic Spooktacular, featuring the Victoria Ballet Theatre and special guests, on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.

The "Party in the Park" is this Thursday, October 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Fossati's Park. Tickets are only $20 and $25.    ( buy tickets)

I happen to be a fan of all music. As far as I'm concerned, good music is simply good music. Victoria is blessed to have the best of all worlds when it comes to music and art. If you love violin concertos (or, if you prefer, 'concerti'), you'll want to be at the Victoria Fine Arts Center this Saturday.
