A 15-year-employee with the Victoria Police Department was arrested by the Texas Rangers on Friday on a warrant for a third-degree felony.

Texas DPS Trooper Juan Tovar has been released from St Joseph Regional Hospital after being shot multiple times, including in his eye, while on duty.
