The servicemen and women of our country make huge sacrifices to fight battles on our behalf and keep the freedoms we hold dear. One of those sacrifices is being away from their families and loved ones for long periods of time.

Tim McGraw surprised 30 soldiers and their families during a Veteran's Day appreciation luncheon at Outback Steakhouse in Brentwood, Tenn. on Thursday. The singer gave out handshakes, words of encouragement and thank yous to the men and women for their service.

I went over to Faith Family Church and checked out all the American Flags and was lucky to see all the wounded warriors come in on their bikes and buses!   I have to say it was one of the most amazing events I've ever seen. There was over 2,ooo flags and almost 500 soldiers that came to a ceremony honoring their time served and their dedication to this great country...
