Thursday, August 6th, Dallas Cowboy great Drew Pearson will be appearing at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts to talk about the 'glory days' of the Cowboys. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Women's Crisis Center, the only emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence within a 100 mile radius of Victoria.
Mid-Coast Family Services along with the Victoria Area Homeless Coalition hope the public will help provide warmth as the Crossroads is expected to receive more cold weather in the days to come.
