The 'Inez Fire Company" will hold a fundraiser Saturday from 4pm until midnight at the Inez Community Center, 2511 Garcitas Creek Road in Inez. Chicken fried steak plates sold from 4-6 p.m.

The Inez Community Benefit Association Event begins Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Inez Community Center 2511 Garcitas Creek Road in Inez. There will be hamburgers and fries followed by a cake walk and silent auction at 6 p.m. Children's games and live auction begin at 7 p.m..

A chicken-fried steak plate and cakewalk to drool over will kick off the 11th annual Inez Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser. The event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Inez Community Center, 2511 Garcitas Creek Road.

KIXS 108 is always happy to see the youth in our area achieve their goals. McKenna Greene, 16, of Inez, won the title of 2014 Miss Rodeo Texas Teen in San Antonio on June 26. She received a $3,500 scholarship, trophy saddle, trophy buckle, mohair jacket, luggage and other prizes.

The Inez Volunteer Fire Department will hold it's 10th annual fundraiser at the Inez Community Center, 2511 Garcitas Creek Road in Inez, Saturday from 4 p.m.  to midnight.
