Two area high schools are still on the road to a State Championship.  This past week Cuero shut out Sinton 28-0, and will play West Orange-Stark with time and date to be determined.  The Refugio Bobcats beat the Shiner Bobcats 17-14 and will play Lovelady Friday night in Georgetown...

The West Warriors are cruising through the playoffs with another HUGE win this past Friday night.  They routed Missions Memorial Veterans 70-8!  They move on and will play Friday night in San Antonio versus Cedar Park Vista Ridge.  The East Titans lose to Edinburg Vela 42-33 as their season comes to a close...

And now comes what they've been working so hard for...a chance to bask in the glory of a title, as the High School Football Playoffs begin. Victoria West heads into a bi-district playoff against Laredo-Nixon, and Victoria East goes up against Uvalde, and both games will be at the Alamodome on Saturday...

The Triad High School football team in Klamath Falls, Oregon, defeated Elkton High by a score of 106-66, a combined—and astounding—172 points, setting a new state record. It looks more like a basketball score than football, as Triad scored touchdowns on 16 out of 17 possessions. The only time they didn't score was on their final possession, when they had the ball inside the Elkton 1-yard line. &qu
