Cassadee Pope is going from one reality show to another...sort of. The singer and winner of Season 3 of 'The Voice,' who will release her Big Machine debut 'Frame by Frame' on Oct. 8, is the subject of her own documentary series, which is still without a title. CMT has announced the show's debut air date. It times up nicely with Pope's album release, airing the Friday before.

Blake Shelton, Kellie Pickler and Kix Brooks already have gigs beyond being country singers, with Shelton coaching on 'The Voice,' Pickler winning 'Dancing With the Stars' and Brooks hosting his radio countdown show. Iconic country musician Willie Nelson will celebrate his 80th birthday on April 30. He marked the special occasion by taping a special for CMT in Nashville last week. Nelson was joined by an all-star roster for a special episode of CMT Crossroads titled 'Willie Nelson and Friends from Third Man Records.'

Congratulationss are in order for country heavyweights Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. These seven artists have been selected as the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year. Each one had a banner year, so they certainly deserve this impressive and important accolade for a variety of reasons.

After more than 90 shows in Europe and South America performing as the lead singer of Journey, Filipino rocker Arnel Pineda recently told ABS-CBN morning show Kris TV that the American rock band is about to take a step toward a country collaboration.
