There are many country music artists who are reeling from the recent tragic explosion in West, Texas at the West Fertilizer Co. It hits especially close to home for the iconic Willie Nelson, as the accident happened in a town six miles south of his hometown of Abbott, Texas. The legend taking action and turning his 80th birthday celebration into a benefit concert for the West Volunteer Fire Depart

Justin Moore had the fans packed in the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville this past Tuesday (Nov. 27), when he called upon some of his famous friends to help raise some money during a special benefit concert, with proceeds going to the Jersey Shore Relief Fund, as well as his publicist, Carly Caramanna, who fell victim to the recent Hurricane Sandy devastation.

Just because he is one of country music’s busiest artists doesn’t mean Kenny Chesney doesn’t have time to give back to those in need. On May 26, the singing superstar will team up with award-winning actors Michael Douglas and Morgan Freeman for the PLAN!T NOW non-profit organization, which was designed to help those affected by the flurry of natural disasters in the past several months.
