They are going to do it up right outside of Edna this 4th of July weekend! The Jackson County Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Brackenridge Park and Campground, 891 Brackenridge Parkway.

There is a multitude of 4th of July celebrations in the Crossroads area. I'm trying to cover all of them, but, if I miss something, please forgive me... it's a little overwhelming. There will be a Fourth of July celebration in the Cuero Municipal Park at the basketball Pavilion.
