Support ‘Spring Sweep 2014′ With Donated Items

Donations for the Spring Sweep garage sale will be accepted from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Highway 87 Storage, 11665 U.S. Highway 87. Donated items will become part of the Spring Sweep 2014 sale from Feb. 28 through March 1 at the Victoria National Guard Armory, 106 E. Mockingbird Lane, says the Victoria Advocate.

According to a news release from the Junior League, household items donated should be clean and in working condition. Gently used clothing needs to be clean and delivered on hangers.

All donations that remain unsold after the sale will be donated to nonprofit organizations in the Victoria area. A raffle is also scheduled and includes a 50-inch television and a Wii gaming system. Donations are tax deductible.
