Get your hands wet with environmental education at the third annual San Antonio Bay Day. A floating classroom, birding excursion, paddling instruction and kids fishing tournament will be among the interactive opportunities offered on Oct. 11 at Seadrift Bayfront Park. The purpose of the event is to improve the general public's understanding of the ecology and natural resources of San Antonio Bay, reports the Victoria Advocate. Proceeds from San Antonio Bay Day go to support the San Antonio Bay Partnership's efforts to conserve, protect and enhance the natural resources of San Antonio Bay.

Fees are charged to participate in some events. For more information, visit www.sabaypartnership.org.
