SA Couple Arrested for Injecting Baby With Meth to Treat Burns

This horrific story started yesterday when 31-year-old Amanda Mann admitted her infant child into a San Antonio hospital with serious injuries and left without returning.  We have learned more and the story is absolutely heartwrenching. According to abc3344.com officials said the one-year-old's skin came off due to the severe burns. Amanda Mann, 31, and Dustin Michael Lawrence, 30, are also accused of injecting the baby with methamphetamine for the pain. According to reports the toddler also had 14 to 18 syringe marks.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said that he wished that the couple could be charged with more due to the level of outright torture this baby had to endure!   The one-year-old is currently fighting for her life.

There were also other kids found at their residence and one of them tested positive for methamphetamine. Also found in the home: a two-year-old, a six-year-old, an eight-year-old, and twins who are two months old and were born at home with no medical attention since birth. These parents deserve everything that they get and more. Prayers for all these sweet innocent children in this situation.

These Two San Antonio Bars Raised Age Limit to 30

In a move that was made last year,  Bently's on Broadway and The Bar Horizons & More in San Antonio raised the age to enter their bars to 30 years old.  The Bar Horizon now advertises itself as a place where "the grown and mature come to relax, play, eat and dance."  The change has been effective since May 2022 and looks like it is here to stay.

In an article posted by KSAT 12, the owner, Toya Taylor, say "I don't do drama, I don't allow drama. That's why my age limit is 30 and up.  I love my 21 and up but sometimes they don't really know how to control their alcohol.'  They are pretty proud of the results, you can see the results by scrolling through their Facebook page, people are also on board with this change.
