Road Closures in Victoria This Weekend

As you travel around Victoria this weekend the city would like to make you aware of a couple of new projects that will be going on as we head into the weekend.

Keep an eye out near Main street as traffic will not be allowed to travel from Commercial Street to Goodwin Avenue beginning Saturday Morning until early Saturday afternoon. The project will start at 7 AM and that means traffic will no be able to travel down this area of Main street.

What are they working on? There is actually a crane that that is needed to replace the HVAC rooftop units at the Victoria Public Library at 302 N. Main. The streets will be blocked off to allow those crews to work and finish the project. If you live or work in this area there will be accessible for those who need it. Road work was also being done as we ended the workweek over on Crestwood Drive. It was closed for part of the day on Friday between Ben Jordan and Halsey streets. Rain on Friday may have pushed part of this project back into the weekend, but it's also possible as we share this that they have finished work on this area. The $4 Million Crestwood Drive reconstruction project has been an ongoing project in Victoria.
