Powerball fever is gripping America! After nobody matched all the numbers on Monday night's drawing, the Powerball Jackpot has now hit $1.3 billion, which is currently the fifth largest in the game's history and ninth largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.

The Powerball is hitting historic levels.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 3, and is an estimated $1.3 billion with a cash value option of $589 million. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5-percent each year. This will be the 41st drawing since the last Powerball win. The last time someone won was on May 31, 2025 in California.

@abc7la The jackpot continues to grow! No ticket matched all six numbers in the Labor Day drawing, and the jackpot now sits at $1.3 billion for Wednesday's drawing. Read more at the link. #powerball #lottery #jackpot ♬ original sound - ABC7LA
