Over the years, KIXS 108 has been a part of some incredible shows, especially during the Christmas season. Ten years ago, on Saturday, December 12, 2015, Old Dominion performed at the legendary Schroeder Hall as part of our KIXS 108 Taste of Country tour.

Old Dominion had a #1 song on the radio when they performed at Schroeder.

The cool thing about this show is that it happened at the peak of their charting days. Their smash single "Break Up With Him" was #1 on Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 for multiple weeks including the week of their performance. The song also hit #1 on Billboards Country Airplay charts on November 14, 2025.

Schroder Hall's first impression on lead singer, Matthew Ramsey.

I will always remember the load-in as the band members of Old Dominion walked into Schroeder Hall for the first time. Lead singer, Matthew Ramsey made the comment, "This is it?" He then started to run around the hall to get his daily exercise in before the show.
It was another sold-out show for Schroeder Hall. There is just something about packing yourself into a dance hall with 1200 of your closest friends. Just one of many shows that KIXS 108 brought during the Taste of Country Christmas tour, including Brantley Gilbert, Dustin Lynch, and Thomas Rhett.

So many great shows at Schroeder Hall.

Other awesome shows at Schroeder Hall in the recent past were Midland, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Dwight Yoakum, and Charly Pride just to name a few. Be on the lookout for those stories coming soon.

Check out this TikTok video from Cody Johnson performing at Schroeder Hall. According to the captions, tickets for this show was only $20.
