New Businesses Coming up Quick on the South Side of Victoria
It seems like the south side of Victoria is getting a little revitalization. If you pay close attention, all the traffic signals are being updated on Houston Highway, and the road has recently been repaved and a median added. It has definitely upgraded the look of the Southside. Alongside all of that, new construction is happening as well. A new Speedy Stop and Chick-fil-A are quickly coming up! Since September, construction has really picked up on the new Chick-fil-A location. In less than two months, the property has already drastically changed. The tentative opening date is the Spring of 2023!
HERE IS WHAT THE FINAL PRODUCT WILL LOOK LIKE:
The new Speedy Stop location has also moved at a very quick pace. Check out the changes from June to this month. The new store will be 8,500 square feet and will also have a liquor store that will almost be 4,000 square feet.
On the north side of town, all five new fast-food restaurants are now open and traffic has definitely increased in that area so please use caution. In that same area, I also still see so more empty land that could possibly fit another fast food place? The Boot Barn building is also up already. The Burlington Coat Factory should be breaking ground very soon. I can't wait until next year, there are so many other developments in the works.
