Tomorrow is National First Responders Day and here is a great way to show your support and appreciation.  The Warrior's Weekend Field of Honor is hosting a First Responders Day Ceremony. It is really awesome knowing that each flag represents someone who served our country in some capacity.  Check out this beautiful picture captured by our friend Danny Vivan.

The first responder procession will begin at 10:30 A.M. at the Pattie Dodson Center and will make its way down Navarro, right on Mockingbird, and left on John Stockbauer.  The ceremony will take place at 11 A.M. at the Honor Pavillion.  There will be a special guest speaker Lieutenant General Steven Hummer. USMC(retired).  The Joint Color Gaurd from the Victoria County Sheriff's Department, Victoria Police Department, and Victoria Fire Department.  The Department of Public Safety Bagpipe and drum corps and Montgomery County Sheriff's office rifle squad will also be on hand.

This has been an extremely difficult year for most, but especially our first responders.  Here is a great way to show our appreciation to our area first responders with a full street procession and celebration ceremony. We thank them for everything they do.

Here are a couple of other great events that you can support Warrior's Weekend at:

October 30th: Texas Mile 2020 at Chase Field in Beeville

November 6th: Aaron Watson and Belated Fourth of July Celebration

November 7th: Veteran's Day Weekend Ceremony at the Field of Honor
