On Sunday afternoon, a massive alligator brought traffic to  a stop in a Richmond, Texas, neighborhood. This happened in the Harvest Green subdivision, which commonly sees alligators in their neighborhood, but they have never caused any trouble. Check out this video posted to TikTok by brycenewberrytv

According to KPRC and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, non-nuisance alligators pose no threat and have no need to be removed. If you see one, keep your distance and go about your business.

Alligators want to avoid humans.

Alligators are naturally scared of humans and will usually try to get away. However, if you hear an alligator hiss, that means that you are too close.  Also, if you are walking your pet and you are near a body of water, be sure your pet is leashed and you have full control of them. This is a common occurrence in the Houston area, I mean ,it is known as "The Bayou City."  This same thing happened in Katy, Texas, back in 2022. It was another massive alligator. It almost looks like the same alligator LOL.
