Maren Morris Extends ‘Hero’ Tour
Morris will hit several cities across the midwest and southeast U.S., including Memphis, Tenn., Mobile, Ala. and Tulsa, Okla. Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, who is also Morris' boyfriend, will join the star on the road as a supporting act. The tour sees the couple performing multiple dates throughout the month of October before wrapping up at the end of the month in Wichita, Kansas. Tickets for the fall dates go on sale Friday (May 5) at 10AM local time.
The addition of the new autumn dates comes after the announcement that Morris will be heading across the pond to perform multiple dates in Europe. The international leg of the Hero Tour takes her to Ireland, Scotland and England for shows throughout the month of November. The tour initially launched in February and kept the singer on the road through April, when it wrapped up in Nashville. Morris has seen numerous sold out shows across the nation.
Outside of her headlining tour, Morris will open select dates during Chris Stapleton's 2017 All-American Road Show Tour. She recently teamed up with fellow rising superstar Thomas Rhett on his new single, "Craving You," while her own current single, "I Could Use a Love Song," serves as the third release off her CMA, ACM and Grammy-nominated album, Hero.
Hero topped Billboard's Top Country Albums chart after its release in 2016. Its debut single, "My Church," earned the singer her first Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance in 2017.
