Country rising star Maggie Rose walked down the aisle and said “I do” to her longtime boyfriend, Austin Marshall, June 4 in her hometown of Potomac, Md., surrounded by family and friends. The artist says the experience was a “perfect day,” and credited her mom and unofficial wedding planner for creating a celebration that represented her and her groom so well.

"I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day or a more perfect groom to share it with,” she gushed to People.

Rose looked stunning in a custom mermaid-style gown crafted by a Nashville designer, tying the knot at Our Lady of Mercy, a church at which many of her family members have wed, and celebrating afterward at a country club in Bethesda, Md. The event included music from family and friends throughout, with bridesmaid Natalie Murphy performing music during the ceremony and groomsman Dallas Davidson performing a song co-written by Rose titled “She’s All Yours” for her father-daughter dance at the reception. Rose's new husband is the executive vice president of Play It Again Publishing, and proposed to Rose back in March 2015.

The happy couple won’t have time to honeymoon in a faraway place just yet, though, as Rose is attending the CMT Music Awards June 8 as well as performing at the CMA Music Festival on the 11th. She recently released the first in a set of two EPs, titled The Variety Show - Vol. 1, which can be streamed on Spotify or purchased on iTunes now.
