Luke Bryan concertgoers in Las Vegas on Dec. 30 got quite the surprise: The one and only Lionel Richie joined the country superstar onstage during his show. Together, the two performed "Oh No," a song by Richie's band the Commodores.

Bryan isn't shy about his love of Richie and his music: He often performs the icon's songs during his shows, and in 2016, Bryan took part in a tribute to Richie during the Grammy Awards, and a concert in Richie's honor when he received the MusiCares Person of the Year award.

"In my top two of my heroes, give it up for Mr. Lionel Richie!" Luke Bryan told the crowd before Richie came onstage -- and the audience obliged, loudly cheering for the star. Readers can press play on the video above to watch the two sing "Oh No," a Top 5 hit for the Commodores following its release as a single in 1981; Richie was in Las Vegas for a residency.

Bryan's Las Vegas stop was part of his Kill the Lights Tour, which has been extended into 2017; the trek will pick back up again at Huntington, W.V.’s Big Sandy Superstore Arena on Feb. 16. Bryan also has headlining sets at the 2017 Tortuga Music Festival and WE Fest 2017 on his calendar for this year as well.
