Lots To See & Do At Moody Gardens

Over the weekend, my wife Sweetie and I paid our second visit to Moody Gardens on Galveston Island. What a fabulous place! Whether you're into nature, science, or just want a great destination for everything from a weekend getaway to a longer stay, Moody Gardens has something for the entire family. One of the highlights for us on this visit was the MG 3D movie theater, and one of the rotating group of films (about 45 minutes in length) being shown currently, Flight Of The Butterflies. This film can only be described as majestic, both from beautiful cinematography to the wonderful story of one man's quest to unravel the mystery of the annual migration of the Monarch butterfly. I promise, your whole family will learn from--and be inspired by--the incredible journey undertaken each year by these creatures, and by the people who discovered the secret to their annual trek!
