Kenny Chesney has earned his fastest Gold certification, as his current single “Come Over” managed to sell over 500,000 copies in just over nine weeks. The singer understands how important it is to choose the right single, and he knew the song was a winner due to its’ emotional appeal. Kenny told CMT Daily Roundup,  “When you get to a point in your career that I am, you have to search for melodies that are just different. You just do. So I think that it was a perfect song for me, and it’s a song that I needed at this point in my career, and it was an incredible way to kick off the record, I think production-wise and emotionally ’cause it does set a tone.” “Come Over” was written by Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Sam Hunt, and is currently #2 on the country charts this week.
