Juneteenth Celebration Continues This Saturday

The Old Landmark Committee is hosting its annual Juneteenth celebration this Saturday. The theme for this year's celebration is "Taste the Soul of Your Culture."

"It's an event that represents all cultures,"  Old Landmark Committee board member Gary Moses told the Victoria Advocate. "This year's theme is about all cultures coming together to taste the food that has enriched the lives of many."

This weekend, guests are invited to go to Riverside Park for a day of activities featuring a moonwalk for children, and a domino tournament for the adults. "It's always a special time for one and all," said Moses
