500 TX Teachers Received Free Supplies For Upcoming School Year

The line for Townsquare Media Victoria's first-ever Teacher Supply Drive started forming at 7:30 am on Monday. Teachers from all over the Crossroads drove down North Star Drive to pick up a backpack stuffed full of school supplies for their classroom.

SUPPLIES FOR TEACHERS

500 backpacks were filled to the zipper with highly requested supplies from teachers( shoutout to our volunteer packers!) Items like Clorox wipes, dry-erase markers, and folders were packed into bags for teachers. PLUS, thanks to a friendly competition between KIXS 108 and Q92 radio personalities, JP and Pooks, over 1,000 tissue boxes were donated and stuffed into each backpack.

SPECIAL GRAND PRIZES

A special balloon was secretly hidden inside 8 backpacks. The lucky teachers who found a balloon inside their backpacks immediately won a special grand prize.
