What Texas town would you consider the most charming? I've got a couple of favorite places to visit, but none of them are quite as quaint and picturesque as the Texas town recently named "Most Charming" by Reader's Digest.

Any guesses on what town it is?

If you guessed Fredericksburg, you're spot on.

With over 150 shops, art galleries, wine-tasting rooms, museums, and boutiques, Fredericksburg, Texas has something to offer everyone. Not to mention, it's absolutely beautiful in the Texas Hill Country. It's no surprise they were chosen as the most charming city in the state. Zero complaints here.

Fredericksburg also has an excellent selection of restaurants, hotels, and bed and breakfasts. If you've never stopped there for the night when you're passing through on a road trip, it's time to change that. My family always stops for omelets at Texas Sunrise. The German cuisine in Fredericksburg is also stellar. You can't leave without getting yourself a schnitzel.

Be sure to add Fredericksburg to your bucket list!
