The deadline has passed for trades in Major League Baseball for players to be eligible to play in the postseason and the Houston Astros got a good one just in time.

The American League West division leaders traded four minor league players to the Arizona Diamondbacks for star pitcher Zack Greinke.

Greinke has a great record so far this season at 10-4 with an ERA of 2.90. The move gives the Astros four starting pitchers with ERAs in the top 15 starters in major league baseball this year.

The Astros are working toward another World Series run, the second in three years. They won the series in 2017 and almost made it last year but got beaten by the Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series.
