Here is the Full Schedule for the 2022 Pride of Texas Carnival

The Victoria Livestock Show Carnival kicks off this Thursday at the Community Center Fair Grounds. The carnival will run from Thursday, February 17th - Sunday, February 27th. Wristbands will be available every day for $30. Here are the daily start times for this year's Pride of Texas Shows:

February 17th & 18th (THURSDAY AND FRIDAY) 6 PM until CLOSE

February 19th & 20th (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) 1 PM until CLOSE

Week of February 21st through February 25th: 5 PM until CLOSE

February 26th & 27th (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) NOON until CLOSE

This will be the second year back for the Pride of Texas Shows in Victoria. Which is a nice change from the old Reed Exposition Midway shows. The Pride of Texas Shows offers crips, clean, and very colorful rides. All the 'carnies' wear the same uniforms and are friendly. The overall presentation of the carnival is clean when it comes to the cable management and overall spacing of the grounds. Check out some of the rides that will be set up at this year's fair. NO-LIMIT: This is a premium ride and will require additional tickets even if you have a wristband. On a side note, there is a weight limit, which I went over. I was denied entry to this ride.

THE SEA RAY: This one is super colorful with super bright LED lights.

THE CLIFFHANGER: No duct tape on this one.

THE FERRIS WHEEL: Over 50’, guests will get a birds-eye view of the surrounding area!

VERTIGO: Side note, this ride will not fly on a super windy day.

THE PUPPY ROLL: The Puppy Roll is a family ride. It has a double circular motion. I have actually gotten sick from spinning too much on this one.

THE ORIENT EXPRESS: The Orient Express is a kiddie roller coaster that mom and dad can ride along to!

ALIEN ABDUCTION: Most of us grew up with the name the 'Gravitron' Riders experience the feeling of weightlessness as they are pressed against the wall. I can still handle this one.
