H-E-B Reduces Purchase Limits and Expands Store Hours
Glorious day! H-E-B has announced they are removing a bunch of items that had purchasing limits in place up until this week after announcing most stores would expand their hours as we head into the month of May.
So, as of today, there are no longer any limits on food items. Up until now, there was a limit on the number of eggs, rice, beans, powdered milk, and pasta sauce. Now you can once again go nuts, Merica'. Oddly enough, I was just in our local H-E-B store in the last 48-hours. Yes, they did have toilet paper in stock. There was 1 option (take it or leave it) and the label might as well have said "Acme". It didn't matter though. That was the first time I had seen any toilet paper what so ever inside of the H-E-B on Navarro in probably 3 or 4 weeks. This doesn't mean they didn't have any that whole time, I'm just saying each time I was in the store, there was none to be found until this past weekend.
This doesn't mean the geniuses panic-buying out the store are done shopping. H-E-B has left the purchase limit in effect for items such as masks, hand sanitizer, and first-aid and disinfectants. The list below details the current product limits at H-E-B stores according to chron.com:
- Acetaminophen – 2 items total (includes baby, trial and travel sizes, OTC)
