Gonzales Texas Making Headlines for Epic Light Display Ahead
Move over California, Gonzales Texas is making history and headlines with their epic state of the art 3D mapping light display said to rival Epcot!
It's Texas Legacy in Lights and it's headed to Gonzales Texas at the Gonzales Memorial Museum.
According to the Texas Legacy in Lights website, "The Gonzales Memorial Museum is not just a monument to the past—it’s becoming a portal to history through state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping.
Using the same advanced technology seen in world-class attractions like Disney’s EPCOT, Texas Legacy in Lights will transform the museum’s facade into a living storybook, immersing visitors in the sights and sounds of the Battle of Gonzales.
As the birthplace of the Texas Revolution, Gonzales is where the first shots for independence were fired—now, through groundbreaking visuals, cinematic reenactments, and immersive sound design, audiences will experience history exactly where it happened"
Funded by Gonzales Main Street and brought to Gonzales from Austin Film Crew, the technology displayed at the Gonzales Museum is going to change the way we experience history.
"Texas Legacy in Lights could be reflecting in 3D on the surface of the Gonzales Memorial Museum as soon as this July after getting unanimous support from the Gonzales City Council on Thursday, March 13th effectively putting Gonzales in the map with new history in the making," the Gonzales Inquirer offers.
