Before we get to the epic Texas Showdown that will take place on Saturday between the Houston Cougars and Baylor Bears. Let's take moment to congratulate the Baylor Bears Women's Basketball team on a hard-fought game and awesome season. The game did not end without controversy and I personally think the Baylor team should be advancing. I personally think there was a foul on the last play. As soon as the replay aired, social media took over. LeBron tweeted "Cmon, man!!! That was a foul!! You be the judge.

The Longhorns Women's Basketball team will play this evening with hopes of advancing to the Final Four. If this happens, this would definitely be a Cinderella story considering that UT has upset the No. 3 seed UCLA, 71-62, and No. 2 seed Maryland in the Sweet Sixteen 64-31. The tipoff is at 6 this evening.  GO LONGHORNS!

On the men's side, one of the Final Four matchups has been set.  The Houston Cougars will be taking on the Baylor Bears on Saturday afternoon. This means that one Texas Team will get to represent in the Championship

For the Houston Cougars, this will be their first trip to the Final Four in 37 years. The Cougars had to work for the win after they blew a 17 point lead. They finally got it together and held off Oregon State sealing a 67-61 victory. Setting the stage for a Texas Showdown and who will be their opponent...

THE BAYLOR BEARS

The number one seeded Baylor Bears defeated No. 3 Arkansas 81-72. This means the Baylor Bears will advance to their first Final Four in 71 years. Their last Final Four appearance was in 1950.  Baylor survived a big-time rally by an Arkansas team that had made habit of miraculous comebacks. Get ready for the Baylor Bears versus the Houston Cougars on Saturday. Get your popcorn ready!!!
