Free Family Event Backyard BBQ Bash at Riverside Park

It's the first annual Backyard BBQ Bash today at Riverside Park Special Events Area and it's a FREE FAMILY EVENT to benefit our very own Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity!

Bring the kids to play with critters in our petting zoo, bounce houses and mechanical bull! Together you can play all kinds of free games brought to you by local community organizations and you can even try your hand at Hillbilly Golf! You can even play cornhole while watching the tournament happening too!

We're featuring free live music all day at the park thanks to Townsquare Media's talent search where we are featuring some of the communities best local artists. We've got headlining performances by Zachary Grant, Stephanie Ross and David Stockton at noon.

It's going to be a beautiful day so get the kids out and let them run around in the park today and play! We are located at 403 Memorial across the street from the Riverside Stadium.

Our goal in 2025 "It Takes A Community to Build A Community" is to build five houses and just by showing up at the Backyard BBQ Bash you are showing support for families like Tara Tinney who lost her home in a fire in 2023. She is a hard working Momma and you can meet her today while your at the Bash too.
