Escaped 10 Foot Python Captured in San Antonio Driveway
A man was walking his dog last week in a San Antonio neighborhood and saw something slithering around which prompted a call to the police. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a 10-foot python snake on the loose. According to Cibolo Animal Services, the snake is a reticulated python. The Cibolo Police Department then went to work to capture and secure a 10-foot python that was found under a vehicle in a San Antonio-area neighborhood. You can also see a close-up of the snake thanks to the Cibolo Animal Control.
The 10-foot python snake, who we now know as Shadow, escaped from a home in the Falcon Ridge subdivision. The good news is that Shadow has been reunited with her owner. So now both police departments can tell people that their strangest call was snake wrangling a python. Cibolo Animal Services worked with the Texas Game Wardens and Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo to ensure the python returned home safely.
MEET SHADOW, THE RETICULATED PYTHON:
ANIMAL WORLD & SNAKE FARM ZOO IS AWESOME:
I have had the chance to visit this place and it is awesome! Located just north of San Antonio on IH-35! “Snake Farm” is a must-see attraction in the San Antonio/Austin area unless you are not a fan of snakes. I personally feel that this place is not as well known as it should be! Check out an extensive collection of snakes, reptiles, and other exotic mammals. It is definitely a place that I would recommend going especially for animal lovers. Get more information.
WATCH OUT: These are the deadliest animals in the world
