The countdown is on for the return of High School Football to Victoria. The East Titans and West Warriors will kick off their regular season on Friday, August 27th. The St. Joseph Flyers will open their season on Friday, September 3rd. The 2021 East/West Rivalry game is set for Friday, October 1st. Last year the boot went to West with a 50-20 victory over East.  All home games for East and West will be played at Frost Bank Memorial Stadium. 


The West Warriors went 8-4,6-2 and finished 3rd in during the 2020-2021 season with a deep playoff run.  During the playoff run, West had impressive victories including a 61-35 win over McAllen Memorial,  49-13 win over Eagle Pass Winn. Their season ended with a 28-21 hard-fought loss to Flour Bluff. The West Warriors will open up with a non-district matchup at Lockhart at 7:30 on Friday, August 27th. The East Titans went 6-4,5-3 and finished 4th in district earning a trip to the playoffs.  The East Titans lost 26-23 to Weslaco East in a very close and competitive first-round playoff game. The East Titans will open their season on the road at Columbia for a non-district matchup on Friday, August 27th. Click here for the full 2021 East Titan schedule.


The Flyers finished the 2021 season with a record of 3-4,1-2 and that was good enough for a playoff spot.  The Flyers defeated Brentwood Christian 27-21 in the first round before falling to Houston Second Baptist 42-0. Second Baptist has always been a tough matchup for the Flyers.  The Flyers will start fresh with new Head Coach James Duprie and will open at Karnes City for a non-district matchup on Friday, September 3th at Karnes City.
