When Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was suspended last season, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wasn't too happy about it so, he filed suit to overturn the decision. He also filed suit over NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's renewed contract. As a result, Jones was facing fines but, the question was, how much would it cost him.

According to a published report, that amount is $2 million. After an appeal hearing this week, the amount was agreed upon by Jones and the league.

A number of team owners were reportedly asked for input on the fine, some of whom are also on the league's compensation committee.
