Christmas is right around the corner, which means some of you will be picking out Christmas trees soon. And there is a cool Christmas tree option that you might not know about. You can cut your own Christmas tree, right up the road from Victoria, near Luling.
The name of the place is Abrameit’s Tree Farm. The tree farm will open on the Saturday after Thanksgiving this year, and will be open until the second week in December, unless they sell out, so plan accordingly.
If you don't want to cut your own tree, you can choose a precut Fraser, Noble, Nordman, or Douglas Fir. The store hours will be Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn more about the Christmas tree farm by clicking here.

You can stop also stop a new Buc-ee's on your way to the Christmas tree farm.

Since you are near Luling, just stop by the new Buc-ee's, which for now is the biggest convenient store in the country, and makes Christmas tree chopping a day-cation. If you haven't been in a while, not only is the store bigger, the traffic pattern has also changed. You can see just how much bigger the new store is.
